The official currency in Norway is the Norwegian Krone (NOK). Please note that credit or debit cards are more commonly used than cash in Norway.
Currency can be exchanged at any bank, at Oslo Visitor Centre or at a currency exchange office. Do keep in mind that it can be expensive to change currency.
DNB Bank offers full-service banking at Oslo Airport. One of the bank's branches is located in the arrivals hall (Monday-Friday 05:30 - 19:30) and another is located in the departures hall (Monday-Friday 07:30 - 23:00).

Norway uses electrical outlets with 230 Volts/50 Hertz with two round prong electrical plugs (Type C&F).

Norwegian is the official language of Norway, but English is spoken by the vast majority of the population.
This conference will be held in English with simultaneous translation to Arabic, French and Spanish in the plenary sessions.
The average temperature in June is between 12°C and 20°C and the average rainfall is about 3-8 days. The minimum temperature can drop to +10°C. We advise checking the weather forecast before travelling.
All newly constructed buildings are required to have wheelchair access by law and most public transport services can accommodate wheelchair users. If you have a disability that will affect your needs for transportation, please indicate this in the registration form.
The Oslo Visitor Centre is the official tourist office in Oslo. It can be found at Østbanehallen next to Oslo Central Station. Opening hours Monday-Saturday 09:00-18:00 (Sunday 10:00-16:00).
